Sleep is the First Productivity

She'd approached him to sleep with him, but now that she'd gotten close, she had to prove she hadn't approached him just to sleep with him.
Shuangyun wanted to cry but had no tears. But she'd already tasted the appetizer. She'd inspected the goods and thought it would definitely feel amazing, but was suddenly morally blackmailed, required to prove she wasn't just trying to sleep with him.
"How could that be? I said I like you!"
Shuangyun immediately began to reassure him.
The hand holding Shuangyun's wrist then slid down. Cheng Lang gently held her palm.
"I want to hear the truth." His tone was very restrained, just calmly asking.
"Really! I really like you. I don't just want to sleep with you." Shuangyun affirmed again.
Cheng Lang looked at her and asked again: "Are you sure?"
Shuangyun took a deep breath and said loudly: "Cheng Lang! What kind of person do you think I am!?"
Shuangyun's voice was emphatic, but her heart had shattered into eight pieces.
Still had to take it slow.
The appetizer was still food. Eat as much as you can get.
Shuangyun didn't stay long at Cheng Lang's place that night, to show her pure heart and clear intentions. After kissing Cheng Lang, she returned to her own apartment.
The next day was Saturday. Shuangyun slept in at home until she naturally woke up. Opening her phone, she saw a message Cheng Lang had sent in the morning.
Cheng Lang: "Do you have anything to do today?"
Shuangyun smiled and lay on the bed, replying: "If you're looking for me, then no."
Cheng Lang: "Just woke up?"
Shuangyun looked at the time. It was already 11:30. "Yes, I drank last night, so I couldn't get up this morning."
Cheng Lang: "Want to come down for lunch?"
Shuangyun: "Are you inviting me?"
Cheng Lang: "I'm inviting you."
Shuangyun laughed and rolled over, holding her phone high: "Why do you always invite girls to your place?"
Cheng Lang's dialog box showed "typing" for several minutes with no result.
Shuangyun laughed out loud: "???"
Cheng Lang: "I don't always invite girls to my place."
Shuangyun: "Really? Really? Really? Just me twice already?"
Cheng Lang: "Shuangyun Liang, come down."
Shuangyun laughed so hard she rolled around on the bed, rolling onto the carpet.
She was about to faint from laughing at Cheng Lang's seriousness. Last night too, at the critical moment he grabbed her wrist asking what their relationship was now.
Shuangyun rolled over and knelt up from the carpet, replying: "Okay, boyfriend."
After sending this, she threw her phone aside and went to the bathroom to wash up.
Going to Cheng Lang's place again, it was with a different status. Shuangyun picked through her closet for a while, finally deciding to go with a simple, virtuous route. A gray sleeveless fitted top and low-rise jeans, hair tied up, looking very lively and casual in the mirror.
She randomly grabbed a bottle of perfume and sprayed it twice, then picked up her phone and walked to the door.
There was a message from Cheng Lang on her phone: "Tell me when you get on the elevator, and I'll press my floor for you."
Shuangyun replied ok.
Riding the elevator to the 10th floor again, her mood was indeed somewhat different.
Although she hadn't had the main course yet, it was still more relaxed than before.
When the elevator reached the 10th floor, Shuangyun saw Cheng Lang the moment the doors opened.
He was standing to one side of the elevator waiting.
"You're waiting for me?"
Cheng Lang responded.
Shuangyun took his hand.
The two entered the apartment.
Shuangyun found that Cheng Lang had probably cleaned the house.
Because the house was almost spotless and had a fresh smell.
"Did you clean?" Shuangyun asked.
Cheng Lang nodded and pulled out a chair at the dining table for her to sit.
"I had someone come clean this morning."
Shuangyun didn't sit in the chair, but instead went to the kitchen.
There was meat soaking in water in the sink.
"What are you making for me today?" Shuangyun asked.
"I'm working on beef ribs right now."
As Cheng Lang spoke, he also walked to her side. He opened the refrigerator and said: "You can look at the ingredients inside. If there's anything you want to eat, I can see if I know how to make it."
Shuangyun looked. The refrigerator was stuffed with various meats and vegetables.
"Did you buy all this this morning too?"
"Yes."
"You can make this many dishes?"
Cheng Lang leaned against the island. "My parents run a restaurant, so I picked some things up by osmosis."
"Wow, you're so lucky!" Shuangyun exclaimed.
Cheng Lang said: "Really?"
"Yes! So when you were little, could you eat your parents' cooking every day?"
Cheng Lang was quiet for a moment, then nodded. "The restaurant always had some leftover food that didn't sell every day. Whatever was left, I ate."
His tone had no fluctuation, but Shuangyun heard some sadness. She slightly closed the wide-open refrigerator door and peeked at Cheng Lang.
After a moment, Shuangyun said: "How about this—today I'll cook for you! You order, I'll make it. The dish exists because you want to eat it, not because it's today's leftovers."
Shuangyun's expression was extremely serious. Cheng Lang looked at her for a while, then also laughed lightly.
"I'm not very bothered by this. I'm not picky about food. As long as it fills me up, it's fine."
"How can there be someone like you?" Shuangyun asked exaggeratedly.
Cheng Lang laughed even more: "Didn't you know I was this boring before you liked me?"
Shuangyun blinked and said: "Then I might need to reconsider what I said last night."
Cheng Lang's smile disappeared.
Shuangyun burst out laughing.
