Chapter 5
Catfished by My Cross-Dressing Roommate
“Huh?”
“Lately when he links up with me, he keeps asking why Yangyang-baby isn’t around. Says he misses Yangyang-baby. I swear—fans have been coming to ask me what’s going on.”
Ye Muyang snorted. “He’s sick.”
“Tell me honestly— is he chasing you, or are you two planning to hype a CP?” Yu Bei asked.
“No,” Ye Muyang denied. “Isn’t he a straight guy?”
“Maybe you’re bending him?”
“When have I ever bent him?” Ye Muyang hurried to defend himself. Then his tooth nerve suddenly twitched again—so painful he almost yelped.
“You don’t like guys like that? The muscles are so huge—his pecs even dance.”
Ye Muyang remembered: before, when they played a four-man PK, Rainbow Horse lost and got punished to do a “pec dance.” Ye Muyang had watched with his face twisted in disgust. It was so greasy he couldn’t even eat barbecue that night.
“I don’t,” Ye Muyang answered honestly.
“Then what kind do you like? Don’t tell me it’s someone like me?” Yu Bei put on a shy act.
“We’re sisters, and you’re saying that?” Ye Muyang said.
Yu Bei: “You can’t be the 1 for love?”
Ye Muyang: “Not even a little. Besides, I actually have someone I’m pretty interested in lately.”
“Who?”
Ye Muyang smiled. “A dentist.”
The call finally ended forty minutes later. Ye Muyang returned to the chat window with Joice.
He still hadn’t sent the line, “Okay, thank you, doctor bro.” Then he thought: with Joice’s personality, there was a very high chance he’d end the conversation right here—he’d only reply with a question mark.
So Ye Muyang deleted it word by word and changed it to: [Doctor bro, does getting a tooth pulled hurt? I’m most afraid of pain.]
